Vendor Terms And Conditions


 

1.     Spero - Terms of Use  Aug 2020 -This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules there under as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This document is published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3 (1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries guidelines) Rules, 2011 that require publishing the rules and regulations, privacy policy and Terms of Use for access or usage of www.spero.co.in website and  Spero application for mobile and handheld devices.

2.     The Platform is owned and operated by WhiteBeaver Technologies, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 and having its registered office at 5th Floor, Tower 3 – 305 D, DD diamond Valley, Edachira, Kakkanad- 682030, Kerala, India. For the purpose of these Terms of Use, wherever the context so requires, "you", “user”, or “User” shall mean any natural or legal person who shall transaction on the Platform by providing registration data while registering on the Platform as a registered user using any computer systems.

3.     These terms of use (the "Terms of Use") govern your use of our website www.spero.co.in (the "Website") and our "Spero" application for mobile and handheld devices (the "App"). The Website and the App are jointly referred to as the "Platform". By installing, downloading or even merely using the Platform, you shall be contracting with WhiteBeaver Technologies and you signify your acceptance to this Terms of Use and other policies as posted on the Platform and amended from time to time.

4.     Spero enables transactions on its Platform between participating merchants and buyers, dealing in Groceries and other products and services. The buyers can choose and place orders from a variety of products and services listed and offered for sale by various merchants including but not limited to Super Markets, consumer stores and grocery stores

5.     These Terms of Use are subject to modifications. We reserve the right to modify or change these Terms of Use and other Spero policies at any time by posting modified documents on the Platform and notifying you of the same for your perusal. You shall be liable to update yourself of such changes, if any, by accessing the same. You shall, at all times, be responsible for regularly reviewing the Terms of Use and the other Spero policies and note the changes made on the Platform.

6.     As merchant, you are responsible for  

i)                    returns, guarantees, warranties or other after sale care; Spero will be happy to assist merchant and customer, however, will not take any of the responsibilities related to these

ii)                    packing the items securely and handing over to the Spero delivery partner/s

iii)                   ensuring that your stock is up-to- date and available to customers when they order it on spero.co.in

7.     You are not permitted to store or use any data from the spero.co.in transaction with the customer for your own or other purposes beyond the fulfilling of the sale.

8.     You are not permitted to sell Alcohol or Smoking items or any illegal substances through Spero

9.     Content you add including photographs, descriptions and items you sell as well as the wording and pricing you use must comply with applicable laws

10.   Spero is responsible  for delivering the item and if any items that are damaged as a result of mishandling by Spero, the cost will be refunded by Spero.

11.   Spero will not be responsible for any of the GST or other tax processing of the merchant. Merchants can generate the transaction details from Spero website if they would like to do so. Spero’s agreed commission shall be on the total cost of the sale.

12.   Spero aim to transfer the amount within 36 hours of sale, however, Spero will not be responsible for merchant’s bank delays in terms of processing the payment

13.   Spero will not deliver furniture, heavy electronics/electrical equipment or a single item that cost more than Rs8,000. Merchant/s will be responsible to deliver these items
